HIV/Hepatitis C
The most important thing to know about living with HIV or Hepatitis C (HCV) is that you can live a long and healthy life. It is critical for people living with HIV/HCV to receive medical care and remain in care. We provide health services intended to enhance the medical care of adult men and women, infants, and youth living with HIV/AIDS/HCV within Horry and Georgetown counties. Our goal is to provide you and your family outstanding, compassionate care in a confidential and welcoming environment.
Having a health care provider that understands your condition and access to appropriate medications will help you stay healthy while living with HIV/HCV. Our goal is to provide our patients outstanding, compassionate care in a confidential and welcoming environment.
Our HIV/HCV services are available at each of our sites and include:
- Confidential HIV & Hepatitis C testing
- HIV/HCV primary care & specialty referrals
- Complete primary and HIV care for youth and adults
- HIV prevention (PrEP) – a daily medication that can prevent HIV transmission
- On-site HIV certified & trained physician
- Routine, on-site lab testing
- Case management and help understanding your care plan
- Medication counseling
- AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) enrollment
- Behavioral health services including substance use
- Nutritional counseling and education
- Health education & risk reduction counseling
- Dental care
- Transportation assistance
- Screening and enrollment for benefit programs, including assistance with insurance, food, medication
A personalized care plan will be developed to meet your or your family member’s unique health care needs. All members of your healthcare team will work together to manage and coordinate your care, both during and between your visits with us.

- Pharmacist
- Licensed social worker
- Dentist
- Dental Hygienist
- Peer support

All HIV patients, including those with Medicaid, privately insured and uninsured, are accepted into our program. Care for those without insurance is supported entirely by Ryan White Care Act funding.
