About Taanya

Taanya Mannain, LISW-CP/S, is a behavioral health provider and the Director of Integrated Healthcare Services at Little River Medical Center. In her role, she offers direct clinical services and leads the integration of behavioral health into primary care settings.

Taanya also offers clinical supervision to behavioral health clinicians working toward independent licensure, promoting professional growth while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the organization.

Taanya’s Approach to Care

Taanya’s approach to care is rooted in an integrated, patient-centered practice that addresses medical, behavioral health, and psychosocial needs all at once. She is committed to improving access to care and believes that treating the whole person results in better outcomes and increased patient engagement.

Drawn to community health centers early in her career, Taanya values their focus on equity, resilience, and building long-term relationships. She is especially dedicated to integrating behavioral health into primary care to lower barriers, enhance self-efficacy, and support overall wellness.

Education

Taanya earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and is licensed in South Carolina as a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Clinical Practice (LISW-CP/S).
