About Dr. McGinley

Dr. Christine McGinley is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and Certified HIV Specialist who serves as Chief Medical Officer at Little River Medical Center. She provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages at the Little River location while leading clinical strategy and quality initiatives across the organization.

In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Dr. McGinley serves as an Associate Professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), where she contributes to the education and mentorship of future physicians.

Dr. MicGinley’s Approach to Care
Dr. McGinley believes strong relationships are the foundation of effective healthcare. She prioritizes listening, education, and shared decision-making so patients feel informed, respected, and empowered in their care. As a Certified HIV Specialist, she is especially committed to expanding access to prevention, treatment, and long-term management for individuals living with or at risk for HIV.

Education
Dr. McGinley earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. She completed her residency training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive family medicine.

Leadership and Academic Involvement

As Chief Medical Officer at Little River Medical Center, Dr. McGinley provides clinical oversight across LRMC locations, supporting quality, patient safety, and care coordination throughout the organization.

In her role as Associate Professor at VCOM, she helps train the next generation of physicians while remaining actively engaged in community-based healthcare delivery.

Community Involvement

Dr. McGinley has been a member of the Grand Strand Running Club since 2010 and values staying active and connected within the local community she serves.
