Little River Medical Center’s General Practice Dental Residency (GPR) Program offers hands-on training in comprehensive, community-focused dentistry. Residents provide care to diverse patient populations in a mission-driven environment that integrates dental, medical, pharmacy and behavioral health services.

The GPR program’s mission is to train the next generation of skilled, compassionate dentists who will expand access to high-quality oral health care for underserved and diverse populations while delivering patient-centered, integrated dentistry.
Program Goals
- Deliver advanced clinical training — equip residents to provide comprehensive care, including the management of medically complex patients
- Serve underserved communities — empower residents to improve access to oral health care for patients who may face financial, geographic or cultural barriers
